FAQs
Do I need a referral to be seen?
-No you do not need a referral. You have direct access to physical therapy in North Carolina
Is treatment at All Around Athlete covered by insurance?
-No All Around Athlete is a cash based practice. Clients pay at the time of service and can file with their insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.
Why don’t you accept insurance?
-Accepting insurance comes with limitations and restrictions that will negatively impact your care. Some of these negatives include multiple patients at once, insurance dictating services, and denying visits. I have worked in insurance based practices before and these constraints have led me to start my own cash based practice. This cash based model will allow me to solely focus on your needs leading to higher quality care as well as better and faster results.
Why does All Around Athlete partner with Athletic Lab?
-All Around Athlete works in collaboration with Athletic Lab to provide athletes access to a true performance environment. Late stage rehab requires more than traditional PT clinics can offer. Athletes need exposure to sprinting, cutting, deceleration, and reactive movement before returning to sport. Being located inside of Athletic Lab allows rehab to progress into field-based, sport specific training, helping bridge that gap between traditional PT and full return to sport.
Do you only work with athletes?
-No, my specialty and passion is working with athletes, however I help patients of all ages and backgrounds reach their goals.
Who will I be working with at All Around Athlete?
-Every client will see me one-on-one for the full duration of their session.
How long is a treatment session?
-Most sessions are about one hour.
